This devotional is an expression of the LUCSA Christian Education Desk in the search of different Lenten tradition within the 15 LUCSA Member Churches.

As Lent is an important period of preparation towards the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the devotional seeks to assist churches in this journey. Inspired by the LUCSA Theme: This is my Body, the theme for Lent is  “A Journey from Brokenness to Healing”. This is from the perspective that in Christ’s broken body we find healing ourselves (Isa. 53:5). The Lenten Series is based on readings from Matthew’s Gospel as this is Year A in the Revised Common Lectionary which focuses on Matthew.
